Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, said to play "better than any first-person console game ever" by ign.com, hits US stores August 27th. Europe will see this new game some time in September and Japan taking third with December 31st.
According to hands on accounts at E3, this 480p widescreen-game looks great and should boost the Wii's reputation when it comes to game-play graphics. |

![]() It seems that an anonymous group of 10 developers have gave a bit of insight as to whats in store for the future of psp custom firmware. They made note to mention that they are planning to create this new custom firmware by reverse-engineering Dark-Alex's work, and that their 3.51 custom firmware will surpass the quality of Dark-Alex's previous work. There is no mention of a release date, but keep posted for updates.

Newly Discovered Flaw in Flash Player May Run Code
A flaw found in Adobe's Flash player, an input validation error, may allow someone to run code loaded using the Flash player built into the Wii's Opera browser. While this may lead to some kind of exploit much like the PSP's image viewer, it seems the general concensus is that Opera's Flash player may be too limited to actually build something useful.
"Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Flash Player that could allow an attacker who successfully exploits these potential vulnerabilities to take control of the affected system. A malicious SWF must be loaded in Flash Player by the user for an attacker to exploit these potential vulnerabilities. Users are recommended to update to the most current version of Flash Player available for their platform."

Yep, it's true. Russian developers who go by the name "Team M33" have just released there ground breaking custom firmware, called "3.51 M33". The future of homebrew just got a whole lot brighter due to this achievement. Of course, this firmware version includes all functions of the official firmware v3.51 but with homebrew compatibility. Here is a short list of features:
The instructions for this ground breaking firmware are included in a readme titled "readme.en" which can be opened by any text editing program. And always, Read the readme so you don't brick. Me nor any pspbrew member are responsible for your actions. Read the readme first before you install this firmware or ask questions. You also need firmware v1.50 or a custom firmware to install this firmware.

![]() Seems as though a user by the name of "PSP Fanboy" has gotten his hands on a PSP2, as it's being called. Surpisingly, the system was shipped with firmware v3.60. So instead of going through alot of words, I'm going to go ahead and make a list of some features. Although this is version 3.60, there is yet no real confirmation that the first gen of PSP's will have the compatibility.
And alot more undiscovered/unannounced features. In relation to the video functionality, games are bordered, rendered at 480×272 pixels, and or progressive scan exclusively. The most important, probably, is the security. Not to much has been announced about it, but I'm sure we will find out in due time. For more pictures, please visit the link mentioned below.

Here are the controls:
Note: This is a homebrew game, so it does require either 1.50 or a custom firmware to be played. Also, as always, read the readme included before you go asking questions. Download: flAstro

The popular Cave Story game made thousands of downloads. The game was originally developed by Pixel (Daisuke Amaya) but now ufo_z has brought us his un-official demo. He himself even got approval of the cave-story creator to go on with this project. His second demo release has made quite a bit of progress. His main feature would be using saves from the original
windows version on the PSP. The files filename and 290.rec needs to be Profile.dat (case sensitive).

Its one of my favourite classics and I hope it will be yours too.
Well thats about it. Enjoy Cave Story: Candidate for PSP.
