Heden from Team DeLiGhT has just sent our neighbors over at psgroove.com a very nice new years demo for the PS3. It Displays a new years greeting as well as some pretty cool animated graphics. PSGroove.com – Happy New Year 2011! Intro from DeLiGhT Well, another year is almost behind us. Mistakes have been made and hearts have been broken; but we have learnt. We Learn from our mistakes so that we may never do them again. Although we know deep in our hearts; we sometimes still might. Humanity has never been about being that “perfect” someone. It has always been about gathering knowledge and life experience. Learning from our triumphs; as well as our failures. As we march towards a new year, I invite you all to take a moment to think about what you have accomplished this year, and what you would like to accomplish in the year to come. May you receive everything you have ever dreamt of having, and much more. With that, I wish you all a sincere and very Happy new year. From my family to yours – PuppetMaster Source: psgroove.com Download link HappyNewYear2011.rar |

Ohhhhh DANG this thang is looking sexy! Modeled after the Gallery 3D app (hopefully following suite with the GPU acceleration), Google will be giving us Android users a new Music player that will directly rival the competition. In fact, the way it handles the music files, it seems it will outperform even the coveted “Cover Flow”. The video appears to possibly signify even further advances in the Android OS as a whole. It appears that by clicking the icon in the status bar you are returned to the Apps main menu. Possibly even leading to buttonless Android Phones! Watch the Video, & Discuss In Our Forums |

If you’re into the hacking scene for PS3, then you need to avoid the newest firmware update! We’ve already mentioned that 3.5 can now be jailbroken and downgraded to previous firmwares but this firmware prevents that! There will be nothing you can do with your PS3 except what Sony allows, so be wary. |

Looks like we’ve seen a lot of cool stuff come out for the PS3 in regard to their highest firmware, 3.50. Recently, a jailbreak has been released, along with a downgrader to allow users to downgrade to 3.41 or any other firmware they please. (Even ones that include OtherOS!!) To downgrade, you’re going to have to have the E3 card, the downgrade BIN, and the modified PUP files: Download the E3 downgrader: Here Download the modified PUP update: Here As you can see, you don’t need to downgrade to run the jailbreak! For now, you’re going to have to wait for a download, though… :O |

Flash 10.2 has recently been released providing a far better user experience to Flash users, knocking down the CPU resources with some reports saying it dropped their CPU use from 50-80% to 5-15%. A worthwhile upgrade indeed! Sadly, Chrome uses a dedicated, preinstalled Flash player unable to be easily upgraded with the usual download and install method. Some reports state disabling the currently installed flash and installing the 10.2 update works, while others (such as myself) have had trouble with that. This is a surefire way to upgrade Chrome’s Flash Player to 10.2! How to-Install the Flash 10.2 Beta on Chrome (32 Bit Windows…)- Download and Install the Flash 10.2 player for Other Browsers from this link. Next, locate the file NPSWF32.dll in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Copy it. Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\CurrentBuildNumber and find the file GCSWF32.dll Rename it to GCSWF321.dll (for safekeeping) Paste the NPSWF32.dll file here and rename it to GCSWF32.dll There you go, you updated Chromes Internal Flash to 10.2 To make sure you have it working correctly go to about:plugins and find flash and look at its details. |
